Yes. 3D, 4D, and HD Live ultrasounds use the same type of sound wave technology as standard medical ultrasounds. They do not use radiation and are considered safe when performed by trained professionals following standard guidelines.
The ideal time is usually between 26 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. During this period, your baby has developed enough fat to show facial features clearly, while still having enough space to move comfortably for great imaging.
- 2D ultrasound: Flat, black-and-white medical imaging used for basic checks
- 3D ultrasound: Still images that show more detailed, realistic facial features
- 4D ultrasound: Real-time video of your baby moving in the womb

In most cases, a full bladder is not required for later-stage pregnancy scans. However, drinking water before your appointment (especially in early weeks) can sometimes help improve image quality. Specific instructions may be given when you book.
Sometimes the baby may be facing inward or covering their face with hands or the placenta, which can affect image quality. If this happens, we may:
- Ask you to walk around or change positions
- Have you return for a follow-up scan (in some cases at no extra charge depending on package)
Yes. We encourage family participation. Many sessions are designed to be a bonding experience where partners, children, and close family members can share the moment.
Sessions typically last between 20 to 45 minutes, depending on the package and baby’s position. Extra time may be given if needed to capture better images.
No. Our services are non-diagnostic and for bonding purposes only. We do not replace medical ultrasounds or prenatal care provided by your doctor or healthcare provider.
Yes. Gender determination is available depending on the package and stage of pregnancy. Accuracy is generally very high when the baby is in a clear position.
